"Celebration String Hosanna!" was first published as a companion volume to "String - and Percussion - Hosanna!" a collection of pieces suitable for encouraging young violinists and recorder players to join in the regular school assembly.  This second collection presents 29 ideas for festivals and special days - e.g. Shrove Tuesday and Hanukah - but not Christmas, which is catered for separately in "Carolling Along".

The selections were made from the books that schools were regularly using, so that schools that were keen to involve their young violinists could do so.  The full list of pieces, and the books in which they appear, are detailed on separate pages on this site. The collection includes themes for each term and season.
